Sexy foods that really work
Can sexy foods improve your romantic life?
When most of us think of food and sex we imagine cliches like whipped cream or strawberries and chocolate. But did you know that there are sexy foods that you can eat to help performance? It’s true! Read on to learn some great food-tips to improve your sex life!
Probably the most common aphrodisiac that comes to mind when people talk about sexy foods is oysters. It turns out that there is some truth to this idea as oysters contain amino acids that are known to trigger the production of sex hormones!
If oysters aren’t your thing the good news is that other sexy foods like chocolate are also effective. Those feel-good/taste-good foods work by causing a spike in dopamine production that induces feelings of pleasure.
While aphrodisiacs are great to get in the mood, there are plenty of sexy foods that work more long-term.
A recent study of erectile dysfunction showed that the active ingredient in garlic, allicin, helped improve sexual performance in 6 out of 8 men. The test subjects did have to eat 4 cloves or raw garlic daily for 3 months before seeing results, so in this case the benefits may not outweigh the bad breath!
Of course sexy foods can play many roles and sometimes they’re about something even more important: fertility. If a woman is trying to conceive, changing her diet can do a lot to help. For example, switching to alternative protein sources and high-fat dairy can help tip the odds.
Sexy foods aren’t all business, sometimes enjoying a nibble in the moment is what really works. We made a joke earlier about whipped cream, but that cliché exists for a reason. Putting a little whipped cream on your body and asking your partner to lick it off is very sexy! Trying different foods, and different ways to share them, can be a highly erotic experience.
We haven’t even mentioned things like edible personal lubricants or body paints. There is no shortage of sexy edibles out there so grab something that sounds tasty, someone to share it with, and start your sexy food journey!
